Seventy percent of my hometown of Wroc³aw, Poland was destroyed in the last months of the Second World War. In the post-war years, all the buildings on the city's historic town square were rebuilt or renovated, except for this one known as "The Golden Dog."
In 1993, I was approached with a proposal to reconstruct all the stone elements for the front and side elevations of this Baroque house built originally in 1670. |
